Luke Force

(Luke is sitting in small room in the backstage area of the Palace at Auburn Hills. Luke is sitting on a steel folding chair, his outstretched legs are using several boxes of copy paper as a foot rest. Luke’s black canvass duffle with “FU” embroidered on the side sits on the floor next to him. The Washington Bullets hat Luke is wearing is not a throwback, it’s an original.  He is wearing a kickin ass 24-7 tee shirt and a pair of grey athletic shorts. The makeshift locker room is a real dump. Suitable for someone on Dark Match status.)

 

A dark match. Been here, done it. But I know how the game is played. Believe me, I’ve seen far worse locker rooms. I’ve seen a hell of lot better too. Trust me when I say that in the future I don’t expect to be put in a dump like this. So, to the powers that be around here, and damn there sure are a lot of them. Whether it’s Cena, Dumas, Kanellis, to whoever the hell is out there. I’m gonna let this one slide.  Congratulations, I’m not gonna hold you responsible for this shit hole locker room. But I am going to hold someone accountable, and that someone is Mysterio.

 

(Luke reaches down and unzips the bag and pulls out his wrestling boots as he collects his thoughts.)

 

Mysterio, this is 2017, I’m sure you can get an Uber from Auburn Hills to Detroit and high tail it out of town. Sure, you wouldn’t leave with your paycheck, but at least you would leave intact. And you know, Mysterio, that’s important in this business. I’m no manager and I rarely give career advice, but I will give this nugget. When given the option, it’s best not to get broken in half by Luke Force. So, I am giving you the option. You can leave now and live to see another day, or you can lace up your boots one last time, step through those ropes and have me simply destroy you. Your choice, choose wisely.

 

There is some good news about showing up tonight Mysterio. I know we aren’t making a whole lot of dough for tonight’s work, but at least we will be able to cash in the royalty checks. What checks you ask? The royalty checks from the DVD they make about me when it’s all said and done. I’m sure that tonight’s match will be on it. Congrats, Mysterio. I’m gonna make you famous.

 

One of the reasons I like to get to the arena early is to see what’s happening and who’s saying what. Well I heard something come out of some idiot’s mouth today that I’ve just got to call him out on. Justin Fisher, you’re right bro. You don’t stand a chance. Not in tonight’s match, not in your next match, not in life. You’re a loser, that’s a fact and I’ve never met you. I would like to meet you very much though, and I know just the spot. Why don’t we meet sometime real soon in that ring and I can kick you around it for a while. It’s just something I do, and I do it better than you. Brother, I don’t say any of this to be arrogant or cocky. I say it because it’s the way of the Force. Learn it. Live it. Love it.
